Biografia

I was born in Cosenza/Italy...when I was three, I discovered my unstoppable passion for drums.... I was listening for hours and hours my old 45 rpm red vinyl record player (front loading!!!), listening to the 70's dirty funk music (the same tune for hours and hours ...it started w/a super-phunk HH/Snare/Kick groove). At the age of 10, Led Zeppelin stepped violently into my life (directly from my Mom's personal discography, including Joe Tex, James Brown, The Stones, Deep Purple, Ike & Tina etc etc...) and on the "mature" age of 13, I started beating every object I could reach in my room... till the first REAL drumset arrived.... On my 14th birthday, I started my first band ever, "The Rifles" (what a bad name.....) and soon after "The Power Infusion" (metal oriented, w/school mates). Some years after, HEADCRASHER comes out from my mind and 3 demos, 2 official albums and gigs all over Italy and part of Europe will come....(between 1985 and 1991). On sept 90, I moved from Cosenza to Torino where I started attending professional drums lessons (w/Gigi Morello, also on MySpace) and between 1991 and today, I travelled 2 times over the US and all over Europe and Australia. Through the years, I joined dozens of bands like NEFERTARI, LA COSA, THIS EVOL TASTE, N.I.A. PUNX, 2.0, MERCALL!, KUTFACES and many more... Actually I got my own recording studio, "Number 8 Studio Productions", located in Turin, Italy. In 2005, I started my official endorsement for UFIP CYMBALS and in 2010, with DRUM SHOP USA and EVANS. Since 1997 I work as a Rock Dj/selecter (Transilvania/Torino, Babylonia/Biella, Cafè Blue/Torino, Fluido/Torino, Mondo Musica Cafè/Torino (w/Ninja from Subsonica) etc... My current brand new projects are THE ART OF ZAPPING and HOLLYWOOD KILLERZ. You can find me 24/7 working as a sound engineer/producer at NUMBER 8 STUDIOS (www.myspace.com/number8studio) in Turin/Italy. Main collaborations through the years: Nicolò Fragile, Piero Cassano, Caparezza, 99 Posse, Db Boulevard, Namb, Medusa, Mao, Tribà, Luca Ragagnin, Carlo Rossi, Domenico Mungo, Peter Sharp, Tasters, Mc Victor, Walter Bonnot (Assalti Frontali), Madaski, Jester Beast, M.C.N and others....
